PC Games Cheaper On Gamedeal | Find The Best Deals of Games Here!įinding the right place to get the best game deals can prove to be quite a hassle when comparing game prices on multiple sites. Given improvements in the two things I've discussed above and additional content I would more than recommend this game at its price. This game though has the potential to be very cool if the developers continue to develop it (I would love to see mars and/or deep space missions eventually in addition polishing it up). Otherwise, I would hold off a bit as this game does need a bit of work for its price atm. If simulators and space are your thing, and you would like to support the developers, I would suggest going for this game. Instead the checklist should be off to the side (say on the right side) so that the player can look at the checklist and flip switches at the same time without opening and closing it repeatedly. Second, following checklists is difficult for no other reason then because the checklist blocks most of the screen and can't be moved. At the end, then have the player do (and have a way for the player to go back and watch how to do things again). Instead, the tutorial should explicitly show where the switch is, flip it for you, and show you what happens. Telling the player "find this switch, flip it, and then see what happens" is not a good way to teach someone. Then at the end have a short/small test where the player actually does things. Also instead of telling the player to "do this thing and look and see what happens" have the tutorial do it and show the player. For example, if the tutorial references the amps gauge place a box around the gauge that is easy to see and have an arrow on screen point to it. I would suggest to the developers that boxes and arrows be added to help find things. Maybe add a lookup tab somewhere? This will make it much easier for people to learn) and the difficulty in finding the actual switches that the tutorial references. Showing an acronym once is not enough to immediately learn it. After about two hours I have the following two comments to the developersįirst, the tutorial is not very helpul at all, mostly becuase of the all the acronyms (The tutorial should give both the acronyms and full meaning at all times and then give only the acronyms in the game. This game is very much an early access game though. This game focuses primarily on actual space flight and the mechanics behind actually flying a spaceship (very cool!). I'm a huge fan of kerbal and simulators in general and this game is right up that road. Welcome to Reentry, an orbital simulator. Sophisticated engineers has created the systems that will safely accelerate you to 25,500 ft/s, into a free fall orbit, with the Moon as the destination. The launch pad tower is slowly moving away from you while the engines are balancing the rocket like a skyscraper on a needle. The loud roar of the five F1 engines are producing close to 8,000,000 pounds of thrust, violently shaking the cockpit and lifting 3 million kg off the pad. The engines are igniting, mechanical systems are clinging below you, while thousands of gallons of fuel is pumping through the systems. You are sitting on top of a 111 meter high rocket, looking at the instruments of a spaceship about to leave the oasis we call Earth. Imagine the final few seconds before launching into space. Explore the surface of Earth and the Moon with high resolution textures, or simply enjoy the solitude of being in space. With the help from the in-game Space Flight Academy, the provided flight manual for each spacecraft, and checklists, you will learn how to fly and operate these machines, and explore space in a high resolution and realistic environment.Ĭontrol almost every system like the real astronauts, see the sunset and sunrise while orbiting Earth with speeds exceeding 25,500 ft/s. This is achieved by hundreds of individual systems and backup systems working together. Spacecrafts are highly complicated machines with the primary task of exploring and understanding what's outside the atmosphere of Earth, while keeping the astronauts alive for long periods. You will have access to missions similar to what happened in real life, or fictional missions designed to challenge you as an astronaut. You create a new astronaut, gain levels and experience for every move you make by completing missions in space.
